What is this item about?- this item is about people in the united states working in places they would like to leave but cant because they will not recive health benifits anywhere else. Because health insurance is tied to employment in the United States, workers who leave their jobs will have extrmely high hospital bills if they quit on their own or take a position with a company that offers fewer benefits.
Why did you choose it? - i chose this article because i like reading up on the job updates.

Raven, I agree that Yahoo! News is an excellent source. I learned something from this article, how health care came to be an employer benefit in the first place instead of being offered by the government. Did you see that part? Your summary is good, too. You left out some important points, though. First, if you have a preexisting condition like asthma or diabetes you might not be able to get health insurance at all if you change jobs. Second, you didn’t say why or why not the information was presented fairly. Personally, I was a little disappointed by how vague some of it was – anywhere from 20 to 50 percent of workers? That’s a big range.

I dont have a job so i dont know about quitting and stuff, but my dad's job gives us health benefits and its pretty good in my opinion. And i think if he was offered a job that payed a little more but with less health benefits he would keep the job he has now so he can protect him and me.
